Discovery Warms Up for ‘Puppy Bowl’

Discovery Communications has teamed up with Gramercy Products to create a line of products based on Animal Planet’s “Puppy Bowl,” an annual event that mimics the Super Bowl with puppies.

The Joester Loria Group brokered the deal on behalf of Animal Planet.

The new line of pet accessories and apparel will be available throughout North America at Petco, as well as on the Animal Planet website this month.

The Puppy Bowl line will include dog toys, dog bowls, feeding mats, dog beds, blankets and apparel. 

Puppy Bowl product will be featured during the 10th annual “Puppy Bowl,” which will air Feb. 2, the same day as Super Bowl XLVIII.

A portion of the proceeds from the product line will benefit R.O.A.R (Reach Out. Act. Respond.), Animal Planet’s national campaign that serves as a voice for animals.
