DHX Media has appointed Paul Keech as its new creative services director.
Keech joins the company as it steps up its U.K. and worldwide licensing activity on properties including In the Night Garden, Teletubbies, Abney & Teal and Dipdap. Keech will manage the creative direction and development of all creative assets on these brands, which are managed out of DHX Media’s U.K. office.
For the last 6 years, Keech has led the design department at HIT Brands/Mattel as vice president of creative services, overseeing the creative group during the transition from stop-frame to CGI on brands such as Thomas and Friends, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam and the launch of Mike the Knight. He started his licensing career with 20th Century Fox as director of product development and has also had stints at Benetton and Dr. Martens.
