Techno Source, a division of LF Products (a Li & Fung company), and KD Interactive makers of the Kurio line of Android devices for kids, are showcasing their new 7-inch LTE tablet (a.k.a. phone) at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nev., this week.
Designed to allow kids to “stay connected on the go,” the LTE Wi-Fi-enabled tablet will run exclusively on the Verizon Wireless network.
"If today's families are always on the go, why should their kids' tablet experience have to end when Wi-Fi connection is unavailable? By teaming up with Verizon Wireless, we're not only offering kids a seamless Kurio experience, but with Verizon's Share Everything plans, an affordable one at that," says Eric Levin, division head, Techno Source.
The phone will feature the same suite of parental controls as the larger Kurio tablets as well as advanced features designed especially for mobile access via the Verizon network including geolocation, data management and remote administration.
