Danilo has signed on for greeting cards and calendars; iG Accessories will develop mobile phone and video game accessories; Pyramid will produce wall art; and
Zeon will create a range of products including watches, clocks, torches and tinned mints.
“Bringing four major new partners on board in the shape of Danilo, iG Accessories, Pyramid and Zeon confirms Star Trek’s ongoing status as one of the strongest brands on the global market–something that is exemplified by the forthcoming Destination Star Trek London at London’s Excel this October,” says Stephen Mills, category manager gifts and paper products, CPLG. “The event, the first of its kind in Europe, will provide fans and the licensing community with a fantastic opportunity to view the incredible depth of material associated with the property.”
The Star Trek franchise includes six TV series and 11 movies with a new film slated for release in May 2013.
