Brandgenuity Deals for ‘Broad City’ Apparel

NORTH AMERICA—Viacom Global Entertainment Group Consumer Products has joined forces with Los Angeles-based retailer Wildfox to produce a line of apparel inspired by the television series “Broad City.”

Brandgenuity, Viacom’s domestic licensing agency, brokered the deal.

The “Broad City” x Wildfox collection celebrates the series’ fourth season finale and draws inspiration from the bold nature of the show. The line features 22 styles including crop tops, slouchy sweaters and more.

Furthermore, proceeds from two of the designs–the Yas Middie Tee and the Yas Yas Yas Sommers Sweater–will be donated to The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. The move is in acknowledgment and appreciation of the word “YAS”’s roots in drag queen culture and LGBT communities.

While ‘YAS’ was popularized by our show, it has a long, rich history in drag queen culture and communities of queer teenagers of color. In celebrating The Center, we honor youth who’ve suffered and lost their lives just for being themselves.”

The “Broad City” x Wildfox collection is now available at Wildfox’s retail locations and online at Wildfox.com. Select styles will also be available at Nordstrom, Hazel Boutique, Coop & Spree, Bliss & Co and Harlow.
