Platinum Films and its Iberian licensing agent Biplano have added several licensees in Spain and Portugal for Platinum’s boys’ brand Matt Hatter Chronicles.
Biplano is currently developing a comprehensive licensing and promotional program across multiple categories that will roll out in both territories in September.
New licensees Dravemad (footwear), Hot Shots and Tasty and Unique (food and beverage) and Claudio Reig (children’s musical instruments) now join master toy partner (EMEA, India and Russia) the Simba Dickie Group and Topps on Matt Hatter’s Iberia roster.
Biplano also plans to announce additional deals in back-to-school, publishing, puzzles, gift and home categories in the coming weeks.
“Biplano is very proud to manage Matt Hatter Chronicles, a property with all the ingredients to be a licensing success,” says Jordi Rey, general manager, Biplano. “Licensees are excited by the property and very soon we will close deals across all category products.”
The first two seasons of “Matt Hatter Chronicles” currently air on Clan TV in Spain and Canal Panda in Spain and Portugal.
