BesTV Brings ‘Sesame Street’ to China

Chinese new media company BesTV and Sesame Workshop are teaming to debut “Sesame Street” episodes across BesTV’s media platforms including IPTV, digital TV and OTT devices.  

In addition to content, the partnership also includes cross-promotional opportunities, digital marketing, and co-development of early childhood educational content and mobile applications.

One of the featured programs will be “Sesame Street’s Big Bird Looks at the World,” which is co-produced with Shanghai Media Group. Targeted to kids ages 3 to 7, the series, featuring Big Bird, Elmo and Lily, fosters children’s natural curiosity about nature and science and encourages hands-on exploration.
