Beanstalk Sews Up HGTV Fabric Deal

HGTV Home is teaming up with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores in the U.S. for a new line of home décor fabrics and trims, in a deal brokered by Beanstalk, HGTV’s exclusive licensing agent.

The new line of HGTV Home fabrics launched last Saturday, with 30 different prints and patterns available in stores and an expanded assortment of 74 designs available on the Jo-Ann website. Outdoor fabrics and trims will be added to the range in mid-April.

“The exclusive HGTV Home line of home décor fabrics and trims is the perfect marriage of style, quality and affordability, partnering HGTV’s reputation for creating fun, colorful and energetic living environments with the Jo-Ann promise to inspire creativity and deliver high-quality products at a value,” says Tim Riggle, buyer, home décor fabric, Jo-Ann. “Consumers rely on HGTV as a resource for what’s new, what’s next and what’s best in interior design and décor, and we are excited to offer an exclusive representation of that credibility in our home décor product mix.”

In addition to a top-rated cable network and magazine from Hearst Publications, the HGTV brand also includes a full range of HGTV Home consumer products with extensions in paint, flooring, lighting, furniture and plants in addition to the new fabric line.

“Our partnership with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores is the newest way for people who love home décor to experience the smart, stylish design aesthetic that has made the HGTV Home brand a success,” says Ron Feinbaum, general manager, consumer products, HGTV. “Consumers will love our fresh take on fabrics and will find that the range of products and colors in the collections gives them plenty of inspiration for their home.”
