Authentic Brands Group has finalized the purchase of certain assets of Collective Licensing International, Lifestyle Brands Corporation and Collective Brands Cooperatief U.A. (collectively CLI) from Payless Holdings.
The acquisition includes several youth lifestyle, athletic, and skate-inspired brands:
• Airwalk–A sports and lifestyle brand, its skate sneakers put Airwalk on the map.
• Hind–The sports performance brand has made its mark with runners with its apparel, sneakers, and accessories.
• Vision Street Wear–A skate culture icon since 1976, VSW was favorited by skateboarders, musicians, and artists for its cutting-edge apparel and shoes.
• Above The Rim–The basketball brand made its mark on street courts all over the U.S. with its apparel, accessories, and sneakers.
As part of the agreement, Payless will retain the right to market and sell Airwalk-branded products in its company-owned and franchise stores, and through ecommerce.
