1D Partners with Sony, Colgate

Following the release of their sophomore album Tuesday, British boy band One Direction also announced two new collaborations that will see the teen sensations appear on movie screens and dental products.

Sony Pictures has announced plans for a 3D documentary showcasing the band, to be released next year on Labor Day weekend by TriStar Pictures.

The global pop phenomenon has also partnered with Colgate-Palmolive to appear on a line of oral care products in the U.S. Colgate will release 1D MaxFresh power and manual toothbrushes and 1D Colgate MaxFresh toothpaste later this month.
